The love of God and prosperity go hand in hand

Luke 12;15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

How many people believe that the more you own the more abundant your life is? A person who owns more than one home, has several cars, designer clothing, boats and jewelry is considered as a person who has a more than abundant life. According to God, life is not in these items. None of these things can love you, comfort, protect, support, and heal you. Everything you can see and touch is decaying. Yet people seek these things and believe that this is life. It is God’s will and desire that we prosper and be in health. God wants us to prosper in everything we do, to be enriched in all things, and to profit. To understand the meaning of God’s prosperity versus the world’s prosperity we must go to the Word. Only God’s word and nothing but his Word will tell us. If you go to any other sources to find God’s will for you, you will be doing nothing except spinning your wheels

II Timothy 3;16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

 ¹⁷That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

The word inspiration, the Greek word is theopneustos, it means God breathed. All of the Word is God breathed, God is his Word, his Word is him. He has a reason and purpose for every Word of his, where and why it is written. His Word is profitable, it will profit you. It is profitable for doctrine, reproof and correction. This is amazing! Doctrine is how to live life, such as; we need to love others, forgive, control our tongue, be patient etc. The Word of God teaches us how to live life. Reproof is to correct practical error. We all make mistakes and will continue to do so. The Word corrects us when we are doing wrong. Correction is how to get back to right believing and right way of living. You do not need anyone to tell you what to do, and you do not need to tell others how to live. The Word of God does it for us. If you allow others to tell you what to do your life will be a mess. All scriptures are profitable so that the man of God,  (God is no respecter of persons, male or female, we are the same to him), is to be thoroughly furnished unto all good works. You are completely furnished unto all good works set up by God Almighty himself. That you may be perfect thoroughly furnished. It is almost too good to be true. God is the creator of life; he certainly knows how to make a genuine wonderful life for each of us. Anytime you read his Word you will profit, anytime you believe his Word you will profit. 

The title to my teaching is the Love of God and prosperity goes hand in hand. I want to show you the depth and greatness of that statement. When you love someone with the Love of God, your life will absolutely without a shadow of a doubt prosper and this is the life God is talking about. Has nothing to do with what you own. People who believe that what makes them great is the things they own are so poor, for if they were to lose all those material things, then they have lost their lives. I know some wonderful people who are very wealthy, if they were to lose their money, they would fall apart. Where is the life in that?

I John 4;16-18 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

 ¹⁷Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

 ¹⁸There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

These scriptures have great meaning in them for us.  Fear has torment, fear robs you of dreams, goals, and it destroys people. Fears of wars, diseases, loneliness, death, un-employment, it robs you of confidence, causes anxiety to the point you can’t even think or make a decision. We have all faced our fears and some of us still harbor many. This is not God’s will! The rich life he wants us to have is a life without fear because fear has torment. When we love someone with the love of God, not only are we helping to cast out fear in their life but we are also casting it out in our life. As his is, so are we. As he is, is talking about Jesus Christ. As Jesus Christ is so are we. God’s only son gave his life so you and I can have life. He is not here on earth to do it, we are. We take his place to love. It is God in Christ in you. God is love, God lives in us so we can love others. Take a moment and really read these scriptures, mentally see the depth of what God is saying. His Word is profitable for doctrine, reproof and correction. Have you been loving? If not, then start, God is all love, he lives in your body. He needs us so badly to love people; we are his hands and feet. This is living a very wealthy life when you are living without fear and you are loving others with God’s love. When you are faced with disturbing news you will not fall apart for we have God Almighty to fight our battles, to answer our prayers to perform miracles. That’s a lot better than having three cars in your driveway.

Isaiah 55;8-12 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

 ⁹For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

 ¹⁰For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

 ¹¹So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

 ¹²For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

My gosh, look how beautiful this is. As the rains and the snow come down they nourish our world. It makes the earth healthy providing food and prosperity. Then God says, so shall my Word that goes forth out of my mouth; God’s Word is God breathed, his Word is profitable. When we love someone we are casting out fear in their life, his Word is providing them health and prosperity. It will not return unto him void. Which means we speak it out of love and the results are God’s responsibility. We are not responsible for the results and actions of others, we are responsible to love and speak. If the people I meet do not want God’s Word that’s their choice. All I know is that if God says it that settles it. God says it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. He sent his only son Jesus Christ so that you and I can live a life more than abundant.   His Word is nourishment, it heals the broken hearted, and it heals diseases, gives comfort, shields us from evil, takes us by the hand and leads us through darkness. Our God supplies every need we could possibly have, he answers our prayers, he supports us, and what else could you ever ask for in life. If your life is below par then you need to ask yourself, have you been loving, have you talked to God lately and talked about life and the things on your heart. Have you thanked him lately? Have you helped someone? Then his Word says ye shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. There are so many people seeking counseling, seeking a peaceful heart, anxiety shrouds their daily life. God cuts through that junk and heals us. He loves us into loving, one step at a time, moment by moment our loving beautiful God is working in us and for us. When you love someone, the mountains and hills are singing and the trees are clapping for you. What a wonderful figure of speech. That’s being rich, and far better than a mansion overlooking the ocean.

Isaiah 58 ³Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.

 ⁴Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.

 ⁵Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?

 ⁶Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

 ⁷Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

 ⁸Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.

 ⁹Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

 ¹⁰And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:

 ¹¹And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

 This is God’s desire for us, to loosen the bands of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens and let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke! How can he do it without us? He is not interested in how many cars you own or how much money you have in the bank, he is interested in your heart. He is interested in your life and getting out of the snare of the devil that incases people in fear. The devil has the power of death and sickness on earth; it is always devilish when there are wars, sicknesses and death. Ministers all around the world preach that it is our God who kills people because he needs another rose petal in heaven. That is a disgrace to God, he did not say that he does not believe in that and it is not his will to have people whom he loves die. God says it’s costly to him when a person dies, its costs him. What good are you if you’re dead? Now is the time to love and break the heavy burdens people are living in, to cast out fear. God says if we do that then our life is like a watered garden, like a spring of water, he will make fat thy bones, which means he causes us to prosper and have more than what we need. This is the life God has chosen for us to live. This is a rich prosperous life. All you are asked to do is love him and love others. Your life is valuable to him and you are valuable to others. If you don’t love others then who in the heck will? Who will, you need to ask yourself that over and over, he needs you to love and in return you can have anything you ask for, in return you have health and prosperity.  If the world tells you it cannot be done, if the world tells you your disease cannot be healed, if the world says there is no other way then Stop right there. Did God tell the truth or did he lie? Does he back up his Word, is he love? Does he mean what he says and says what he means? Does God do miracles? Is his specialty miracles? Is he greater than your thinking? Is he greater than your doctor, than your employer, than your banker?  Our God is, our God is able and he is willing. He loves you so much there is nothing he wouldn’t do for you, you are his baby.

Jeremiah 9;23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

 ²⁴But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

If you’re going to glory over something, glory over this, that you learn to understand and know God, it is our God who exercises loving-kindness.  He is so sweet it warms your heart.  Don’t glory in mans wisdom, his strength and his riches, or your own, for they are nothing to God. Mans riches is nothing. Get rich in the Word, get rich in love, that’s the true wealth in life.

1 Corinthians 13

 ¹Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

 ²And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

 ³And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

There it is, here is the Word of God on a silver platter. You can be the smartest person on earth and understand all mysteries, you can burn yourself out feeding the poor, running errands for the needy, you can have fantastic believing, but without the love of God in the renewed mind you are nothing. Charity means the Love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation. Without loving there is no profit.  You can do all these things in the world, be recognized by the President of the United State, get outstanding citizens award of the year, you can give all your money to the poor, but without the love of God it profits you nothing, without the love of God I am nothing.  The love of God and prosperity goes hand in hand. Love casts out fear, lifts heavy burdens, sad depressed people get set free, health is restored and your life is like a tree planted by living waters.   A man’s life consists not in the abundance of the things you owns, it’s how much you love God and others. God bless all of you, our God is so wonderful and he makes you wonderful, you’re a blessing, it’s up to you to love others into loving, you can set people free. His word will never return void, embrace your life with God and the mountains and hills will be singing and the trees will clap their hands for you when you walk by.

What are you feeding your mind?

Last week I taught on “controlled your thinking”, if you can control you thinking, you can control your life.  As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. You are who you are because of what you think. You are where you’re at in life because of your thinking. All your actions or re-actions come from the thoughts you have formed in your mind. A lot of people don’t like to hear this because for the most part we have learned to blame others for our misery, we have blamed others for the negative actions we chose to take. A person who loses their temper blames you for making them mad. For the most part, you will be blamed, or you will blame others for what you yourself do. 

My question this week is what are you feeding your mind? All battles we face start in the mind. If you’re feeding your mind negative thoughts, one after another, TV, newspapers and magazines, then you are feeding and filling your mind with negatives. People believe what they read and see. We have murderers around every corner; look at the wars around the world, our gas supplies, money, medical insurance, the list is too long to write. People are consumed with grief and choked with the problems of the world. People hate Republicans, democrats, they hate each other. Doctors are swindling Medicaid millions of dollars. Everyone is losing their jobs and homes. FEAR is rampant! Fear is carried away in the minds of people everywhere! Your body is what you feed it; feed it junk, you got a junky body. There are a million diets on TV to choose. Choose Jenny Craig and it says you can change your life. We are fed with lies. Try having a positive conversation with someone who studies the news. Almost impossible. You become what you feed your mind. Fear controls people because they choose to feed their minds junk food. You decide what to read and what to believe. You are known by your actions and your actions are based on what you believe. God wrote the book, I didn’t! As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Period. To change your thinking you must change your mental diet. Eat Words that have life. God’s Word is life to those who find them; his Word is health to those who believe them. He sent his Word and healed them. His Word is food, its food without poisons, it is life, and it is more than an abundant life. I don’t get it sometimes, people get so consumed with natural organic food, yet they read and believe crap from the world, they don’t change their heart; they just want to change the body. Well you can spend the rest of your life eating organic food and be sick because you’re living in fear and worry. You don’t change the outside, all change comes from within. The heart, the thinking, the innermost part of you.

Another thing I want to point out that is very important to understand, you cannot stop negative situations from coming at you, and you cannot control painful words that others sling at you. You do not have control over the world and the people in it. The powerful control you do have is “control of your mind”. It hurts when you have been yelled at, accused, stolen from, deceived, fear of losing your job etc. God knows and understands our tender hearts and that’s why he sent his son Jesus Christ, he bore those burdens, we have received absolute forgiveness, no condemnation and guilt trips, strength when we are weak, and comfort when we are sad, peaceful heart in the midst of turmoil and so much more. God stresses throughout his Word the importance of re-newing our minds. If it’s important to God then you should make it important. We are born again from God’s seed, heaven bound and all hell can’t stop us, but our minds are unaffected, our minds must be renewed. We are told to forget our past and press forward, to put on the new man, which are new thoughts a new way of life to live. This new way of life can only be lived by you, only you can change your ways, your thoughts. There is no blaming in God’s Word, there is no making someone else responsible for our actions, God says You must be the one to do it. So, let’s learn Gods Word, let’s learn how to live life and gain control of yourself. A life that is rich, healthy, powerful and has meaning.

God looks at the heart he sees the innermost part of you. All of believing stems from your heart. God uses different words throughout the bible describing the innermost part of a man or woman.  Sometimes heart is used, or the eyes of your understanding, footsteps, treasures etc.  I am going to start in Ephesians, Ephesians is written specially to you, and you could put your name in every verse. This book is the greatest of all revelations given from God to us. This book tells you what you have being born again, your privileges your rights, your blessings. If you want to know the riches in life you have received, it’s all written in Ephesians. Chapter 1 v.3 it tells us we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings. If we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings, then we don’t need to pray for them, we need to know what they are and accept them, and live them.

Ephesians 1; ¹¹In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:  You were predestinated from God, he knew about being in his family, and he gave us an inheritance. A millionaire acts like a millionaire because he believes his bank account statements. We have an inheritance from God and we need to believe what is written. It’s surer and more stable than any bank account in this world, for it is backed by God Almighty himself.

 ¹²That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.  We should be to the praise of his glory, that’s what God thinks of you, you must think that.

 ¹³In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  This means when we were born again from believing that Jesus was the son of God and God raised him from the dead, (Romans 10; 9&10) you are saved! And are sealed, Holy Spirit is sealed in you, it’s God’s seed, all hell can’t stop you from going to heaven. Religions teach you can go to hell for sinning; it’s a lie straight from the pit of hell. Believe God’s Word not mans.

 ¹⁴Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.  Going to heaven is part of our inheritance, it’s guaranteed until Christ returns.

 ¹⁵Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith (believing) in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, this is written to those who love God and love others. If you do not love others, then you do not love God. Anyone can mouth scriptures, but do their actions follow their words? And yes, we are called saints, you don’t become a saint years after your death, you’re a saint now according to God. Doesn’t matter if you feel like one, the Word says you are.

 ¹⁶Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

 ¹⁷That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:  It’s Gods will for you to know! To have revelations, to have knowledge in him, that’s power, that’s having a knowing. He doesn’t want us stupid.

 ¹⁸The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Look closely at this scripture, the eyes of your understanding, your heart, your innermost being where all your thoughts are formed, who you are as a person. He wants you to know that you know that you know! We live in the midst of a dark and perverted world, where criticism and wars abound. He wants us to know and understand our inheritance. We have power, love, hope, we can believe for the impossible to come to pass, all our needs met, what God gave Jesus Christ, he gave to us. We are his sons and daughters, we have his seed planted in us and are sealed. Our minds play tricks on us and we allow others to talk us out of who we are and what we have received from God.

 ¹⁹And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,   We have exceeding greatness of Gods power, we have it, you don’t need to pray for it, you got it. What is your mind telling you? If you think for one minute you are powerless then you are confessing and believing a lie. We have to change our thinking, we must confess what God says, not what we feel, not what we think, but what does God say. You have exceeding great power from God, you can do all things, and you have a life like no other.

Ephesians is such a power packed Word of God. I encourage you to read and re-read it, over and over again. It is who you are in this world, it is what you have in this world, and it is what you can do in this world.

The rest of this teaching, we are going to spend time in Proverbs. Proverbs is a power house full of wisdom and understanding. God’s will is his Word. If you know the Word then you know what is will is for you. Study Ephesians.

Proverbs 1 ²To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

 ³To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

 ⁵A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

 ⁷The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Fear is a very bad translation; God does not want us to have fear because fear has torment. The correct translation of fear of lord is obedient devotion. Loving God, having him be your God, being devoted to his Word is the beginning of knowledge. Fools despise wisdom and instruction. Yes they do, a person who does not love God does not want to hear any wisdom or knowledge from you. In fact they despise it.

 ²²How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge.  Simple ones mean those who lack wisdom, how long will you simple ones love simplicity? They don’t want wisdom, and scorners delight in their scorning. Means people love drama, they bitch and complain about you and everyone else. They love it. Those people who love to backbite, stir up trouble, say false things about you, they hate knowledge. If they had knowledge then they would learn about themselves and a scorner doesn’t want to see how ugly they are on the inside, they don’t want to make changes. They want to blame, cause drama and they enjoy it. So don’t get shook up when they come at you with nasty words, you can’t change them, change your thinking. For they are nothing and they are nothing to God.

 ³³But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. Look how beautiful our God is, keep your heart focused on him, we shall, and shall means “absolutely without a shadow of a doubt” we shall live safely, and we will be quiet from fear of evil. Your homes, your family, we can live a life without fear and no evil shall over take us. We will always have a job, food, a roof over our heads, money when we need it; we have it all with God. If you want to know why other countries are starving and fighting, here is your answer;

II Chronicles ¹⁴If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. God has no control over people’s wickedness and negative behavior, even though they blame him. He will forgive anyone who comes to him, who seeks his face, he will hear you, and he will forgive sins and heal your land. It’s up to people to believe God and prosper, grow lush gardens, live a wonderful life, and to love and be loved. But fools don’t want to hear that.   Back to Proverbs.

Proverbs 2 ²So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; this should be your thinking process, apply your heart to anything else and its misery.

 ⁶For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

 ⁷He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. (Buckler is a shield; you are protected physically and mentally.

 ⁸He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

 ¹⁰When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; (heart is where you store all your thoughts)

 ¹¹Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:  You won’t be tossed about in life with negative influences, up one minute and down the next. Fear won’t be your guide.

I wish I could write down all of chapter 2, read it for yourselves when you get a chance. It tells how God’s wisdom benefits and protects us. God wants us to know that we know, our knowledge of his Word is life, its protection and its health. Feed that to your mind, not TV and magazines. Believe God for once in your life; focus your thoughts on his thoughts.

Proverbs 3 ¹My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: (keep your thoughts on God’s Word)

 ²For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.  It isn’t organic food that is going to give you a long life, or vitamins, it’s God’s Word, not only a long life, but peace.

 ³Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: In other Words, know them! Study them and don’t forget them.

 ⁴So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.  

 ⁵Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Don’t lean on your five senses and on the things you see, don’t believe what you read or see unless it’s Gods Word. Trust him; he will never fail you, ever! Trust him with all thine heart, your thoughts you’re believing!

 ⁶In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. God will lead you in life; we don’t know what is going to happen around the corner or what’s going to happen in the next five minutes. Put your heart and soul into trusting God, not fifty percent or once in a while, but all of it, he will direct your paths, your walk, and your steps. We are safe with God, outside of God is danger.

¹³Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

 ¹⁴For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. If all you have in life is money, you are in a very poor state of life and to be pitied. You basically have nothing, not even happiness.

Proverbs 4 ⁵Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. God says anyone who asks wisdom he will give it to them. Ask, and God will. He wants us smart, to know, this world is confusing, yet we don’t have to be.

²⁶Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.  This means to take care of your thoughts.

Proverbs 6  ²²When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.  God’s Word will lead us in life, we can have sweet sleeps without medication and when we wake he talks with us, we can start our day out with positive constructive thinking. God is so sweet and amazing.   This next verse I am going to share with you, if you practice it and live it, you will be one of the happiest, prosperous loving person in this world. You get it in your mind, you think it, you live it and you will get the results because God backs up his Word.

Proverbs 9; 6-8 tells us reprove not a scorner for he will hate you, reprove a believer and they will love you. Cracks me up. I told a person, who I know is a very bitter person, complains all the time and never looks at themselves for their mistakes, anyway I spoke the truth to this person and to this day they hate me. They won’t remember all the good things I did for them, they will remember this one incident, the reason they hate you for speaking the truth is because it is a reflection of who they are and they don’t want to see it or admit it. Pride enslaves and causes blindness. You tell someone who loves God the truth and they love you, they are happy for reproof because it helps their minds to start thinking correctly. Truth sets us free, especially if we are fearing something or anxious in the mind over a situation, truth gets us out of that nasty snare. Truth is freedom, an unbeliever thinks you stink, but we are a fragrance to those who love God.;po0

Proverbs 11 ¹⁷The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh. If you treat people with tenderness, are nice to them, do good things for them, you are making your life rich. God says you give and you will receive a hundred times back, guaranteed. You practice giving you are making your own life totally amazing. Flip the coin over and you are making yourself sick, poor, unloved and unwanted, you give cruelty and you will receive a hundred fold back. This is a law God set into practice, that as you give you receive, you reap what you sow People that are cruel love being cruel, they are making themselves sick and miserable, they bring it upon themselves and blame everyone for it.

Feed your mind Gods Word, look how much you have, look at how much you stand to gain, you have an inheritance and this is it. His Word will heal, protect, provide, and bring peace, prosperity, self control a sweet sleep, safety, healthy ground, money, and a heart that is like no other.  I wanted to share so many more scriptures with you from Proverbs but I understand when teachings are too many pages the mind starts to wonder. I encourage all of you to read Ephesians and study Proverbs. God says its medicine to our bodies; it literally heals us in so many ways. Enjoy your inheritance and benefits for you have been blessed with all spiritual blessings.

Take care of your thoughts and your thoughts will take care of you

Bishop K Pollai grew up as a Hindu in India, and later converted to Christianity. In our day and time a person can change religions like they change socks. In his country and tradition this is not so. At birth he was salted and wrapped in swaddling clothes and his life was committed to God and the Hindu religion.  This was an Eastern custom, as the same thing happened to Jesus Christ when he was born. Being salted wrapped in swaddling clothes means their words will have spiritually meaningful and they will stand upright before God. In the Hindu religion if you converted to any other religion you were ousted out of the family, community, religion and considered dead. This is exactly what happened to him. His family had a funeral performed and buried his picture signifying his death after he converted to Christianity. His desire to learn and teach the truth not only changed his life but ours as well. Bishop Pillai’s background gave him an understanding of the Eastern culture, which is the culture of the Bible. With his knowledge brings us rare gems of truth and opens our eyes of spiritual understanding. I am so grateful for this man’s commitment to God.  Truth of God’s Word is contrary to mans religion and goes against the grain of traditions. Likewise for him and many others who choose to stand for the one and only true God will always buck up against the rules and regulations of religion. The title of my teaching was quoted from Bishop Pillai and taught to him from his father. He also quoted, “there is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so”.

If you can control your thinking, you can control your life. One of our biggest challenges is how to control our thinking when we are faced with uncertainty. Everything we see, feel, and hear around us is in constant change. You might have a good job today and tomorrow it’s gone, healthy today, tomorrow you’re sick. You might be counting on your retirement only to see the stock markets dropped and you lost all of our savings. Your good friend loved you today but got angry and has nothing to do with you. We have all been lied to, cheated on, robbed in some way or other. Things we thought were real turned out to be false.  Nothing in this world is certain. God tell us that we have a life more than abundant, he has met all our need, need means food, clothing, a roof over our heads any need you have is met. The truths in God’s Word, in reality, is the opposite of what is in the world. God says all things are possible to them that believe, he says that what so ever you ask for you shall receive. He says he has given us peace; we can be in a turmoil situation and have complete peace. So how can we control our thinking in a positive constructive manner when we are scared, nervous, angry, broke, fired from your job, house burns down, your only car quit running and so on.  The law of believing equals receiving, it’s a law, if you fear the worst, it will happen, if you believe positive, you will get the results. How then do we believe positive, reap the results when in fact the circumstances in front of us are genuinely negative. We have got to go to the creator of life and be taught how to have life more than abundant and maintain a peaceful heart.

Do you know that it’s impossible for someone to make you mad, it’s also impossible for someone to make you happy.  If you get offended it’s because you allowed it.    You have the absolute power to control what you think. You can think negative and you can think positive. No one can make you think, otherwise you would be possessed. You can make your life wonderful by what you choose to think, and you can make your life miserable for choosing to think ugly and negative. I am so blessed that we have the power to change our life. Physiologist teach positive thinking, but they are limited to the five senses part of the brain. As born again believers we have unlimited resources because we are hooked up with God Almighty. We have the ability to do all things. The Word of God is simple, but we make our thinking complicated.  I am going to take you into the Word of God and let the Word speak. Jesus taught people to re-new their thinking. It is God’s will for us to change our negative thinking, and better yet, he teaches us how. It all boils down to practice. So, let’s dive into the Word and see what God has to say.

Mathew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Treasures mean your thoughts. Don’t’ center your thoughts on things of the world, material things. “Moth” is fear and “rust” is worry, the word “corrupt” means breed.  When you place your trust and focus on material things, it will cause fear and worry which will breed more. People are focused on their money, scared of losing it, homes they live in. When you are centered on the material things and they vanish, then where is your life? Fear is believing, fear causes you to lose.
 ²⁰But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:   Jesus is telling them, let your focus be on God’s Word, there is no fear and worry and they can’t come in and steal. If your house burns down today, you can turn to God and thank him for another one to be built. It’s your thoughts, it’s what you center and focus on in your life. There is no life in material things. People fall apart when the stock market drops, or they lose their job. You put your trust in God’s Word and you will never fail, for God backs up his Word.
 ²¹For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.   Amen to that. If you are wrapped up into material things, there will your heart be also. Fear and doubt will be ruling your heart.  A person is known by their thoughts, actions follow thoughts. Fear and doubt break through and steal. Put your trust in God’s Word and you have nothing to lose but everything to gain. 
People are who they are because of their believing, a person who an grumpy and complaining all the time puts their trust in the material things, they choose to think that way and usually they are the first to point fingers and place blame for their misery. No one makes them think that way; they choose to think those thoughts. 
It takes practice to change our thinking, when we start to think negative or fear starts to creep in, that’s when you change your thoughts. If you don’t like what you’re thinking, then change it! If you don’t like what is happening in your life, change your thinking patterns, think God’s promises, think his Word, replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts. No one else can do that for you. If you’re being negative it’s because you’re thinking that way. Nothing can make you miserable, only your thinking can.  No situation or circumstance that comes to you can make you sorry, angry or upset. Nothing can MAKE YOU! Only you’re thinking. You are in control; you are in the driver’s seat of every thought.  You’re never a failure until you blame someone else, I repeat; you’re never a failure until you blame someone else. Like Jesus was saying, where you’re thinking is, there will your heart be also. If Jesus couldn’t change their negative thinking, neither can you or I, everyone is responsible for their own thoughts. So don’t blame me if you’re mad, you’re choosing to think that way. It’s really cool how much power we have in our life and that we can learn how to control our thinking. As long as you’re thinking and heart is focused on God’s Word you will be blessed, you will have that inner peace and quietness. Gods Words are sweet, loving, kind, healthy and supportive all the way. No guilt, no condemnation, his Words are pure.
 ²²The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.     The word eye here, is thoughts, if you have the thoughts of God’s Word, your life is blessed, your life is light, darkness is anxiety, sadness, guilt and so on. Where your thoughts are so are you.
 ²³But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!         See how this works, if your thoughts are evil, on the material things; keep the Word of God in context. Context of this is your thinking. If your thinking is negative, then that’s how your living life. Like I said, people who are negative have an excuse for their behavior and they blame everyone and everything.  
 ²⁴No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.  People who love God love life and others, people who put their trust and center their thoughts on worldly things love the world and could care less about God and his wonderful word.
 Worry and fear make you sick. Love, a peaceful quiet innerness is available for us to live and to make it a standard to live. It takes practice, simple as that, practice thinking positive thoughts. When a negative thought comes to your mind, tell those thoughts to get lost and then replace it with the Word, or something sweet, something positive. Thinking is an art that can be learned. Like I said earlier,  no one can make you mad, if someone calls you names or says something hurtful, you can do one or two things, you can centered your thoughts on feeling hurt and angry or you can replace those thoughts and think; God says to love my enemies, God says he is for me so who in the world can be against me. Your life can change just as fast as you change your thinking.  One more thing, being around negative people who do not love God, can affect your heart and way of thinking. Negative people can walk into a room and stir up a calm atmosphere and your heart. Stay strong on God’s Word and your thoughts.
Take a look at Mathew 12 ³³Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit
Tree here is a figure of speech, it means thoughts. Either make your thoughts good and your life will be good, or think negatively and your life will be negative. We are known by the results we get in our life.  Again, if someone blames you for their misery, it isn’t your fault, it is their thinking. God doesn’t make failures; you are never a failure until you blame someone else.
We need to take care our thoughts, be aware of how we are thinking. Thinking is an art, to be practiced over and over again. If you don’t like it, then think different. If you think you will fail, you will fail, if you think you will be unhappy, you will unhappy. 
Job chapter 3, most of you know what happened to Job, he lost his family, they were killed, he lost is crops, animals, his home, he lost everything, what a sad horrible time in his life. Job said, all these things that I have feared hath come upon me. Fear is believing and gets results, except they are negative results. The things you fear will come upon you. His thoughts were centered on the things he could see. Fear crept in and stole everything he had, including his family. You have the power to change that, only you can control and decided on what to think. We have a loving and wonderful God who is willing to do anything you ask or think. In fact he is willing to go above what you ask or think. Do you see how important it is to change your thinking? Do you see the greatness of what Jesus was telling them about centering their thoughts on God’s Word, making his Word their treasures where worry and fear can’t come in and steal. Fear steals your dreams, health, goals, pleasures in life; fear destroys inner quietness and peace. Having your thoughts based on truth sets you free from the cares of this world. We never have to be afraid of the future, we have God almighty to supply every need and want. We have God to fight our battles, to lead us when and where we don’t know where to go. We have a life more than abundant; every situation that you are confronted with is all taken care of. No situation or circumstance can make you miserable, only your thinking can do that. What is your attitude going to be when you’re in the midst of trouble? What are you going to think? You have the power to live life above the negatives of this world and people who breed worry and fear, and you have the power to live life that is absolutely a blast. The apostle Paul said Oh wretched man that I am, he was talking about the war going on in his mind, one thought is good and then another follows that is negative. The battle we face every day is in the mind. Paul goes on to say there is no condemnation to us, keep the condemnation out of your life, its ok, and just change your thinking pattern. Its practice, practice the art of thinking, replace your old dirty thoughts with the Word and it will positively bring you wonderful results. The Word of God is our treasure, worry and fear cannot destroy it, Fear cannot come in and steal because you are keeping the Word of God inside your heart and guarded by God. God guards our heart, and fear has no place and right to dwell there. Think what you are thinking about. Take care of your thoughts and your thoughts will take care of you. Amen, God bless.

What about God?

This morning when you woke up what thoughts did you have running through your mind? Throughout most of the day what kind of thinking patterns did you have?  Did any of these thoughts cross your mind today; a need, want, anger, a sense of un-worthiness, shameful, never the best, guilt for thinking evil, angry at others, sense of being lost, temptation, sense of insecurity, despair, nervousness, loneliness, or a feeling of being un-happy of who you are? You are in the midst of a dark and perverted world, surrounded by un-belief and smothered with negatives. It is designed and controlled to keep you second guessing yourself, designed to make God seem like he is miles away. It’s the world and we are living in it, and as long as we are alive on earth and until the gathering, these are the influences that surround us daily, moment by moment. Our God knows this, our beautiful, tender, and loving God knows what each one of us face and the thoughts we battle. We are in a war called “the battle field of the mind”.  Regardless of all the junk we have to face, our God has made us victorious. He has made us more than conquerors, he is God Almighty who has an endless supply to provide, protect, support and defend each one of us. God stands behind his Word, he means what he says, it doesn’t matter how you feel, it doesn’t matter what you think, his Word is his Word and he means every bit of it. You have to think something today, you have to think something this moment, why not think about the love he has for you. Below is a beautiful psalm showing God’s heart and what he has done specifically for you.

Psalm 103

 ¹Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

 ²Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

God wants to be loved, not used for emergencies. He knows we can’t remember all his benefits, like; being protected, prayers being answered, being comforted, getting things we love, the list is endless, but yet we start to forget what he has done and focus on new needs. During the day, try to remind yourself what God has done for you, that’s all he asks.  God remembers what man forgets, and man remembers what God forgets.

 ³Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

He forgives ALL your sins and shortcomings, ALL of them. This is what man continues to remember and this is what God forgets! If God forgives you then you forgive yourself and you forgive others. If you don’t you are walking on dangerous grounds, this is the battle field of your mind. People are constantly talking bad about others behind their backs and the world loves revenge. Time to stop it, and it starts with you. Religion will remind you of your sins, it loves condemnation and pride. God is NOT religious, people are. You have been forgiven, that’s grace, that is God’s love. Who healeth all thy diseases, God wrote it he means it and He does it, think that thought.

 ⁴Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;   You know what this destruction is talking about? It’s the destruction that surrounds us daily, to wear us down, pressures that the world hurls at you, God redeemed you, means he bought you on sale, no, Jesus Christ was our redeemer, it cost God his only son’s life for you. A life was given for you, you might not think much of this, but you need to remind yourself once in a while what Jesus had to go through for you. People are being destroyed left and right from the pressures of this world, we don’t have to! God crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies. We don’t deserve that, but how sweet our God is to us. He loves you so much.

 ⁵Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Some things that come out of a person’s mouth are so ugly and hurtful, God gives us his sweet Words, words we can speak to bless and encourage others with. Words that have life and meaning, we are here to love and bless others, God forgave and blessed you with tender mercies, you need to honestly think; what is coming out of your mouth to yourself and to others. Youth being renewed like the eagles. This is an eastern eagle, when the wings get old and dirty, it flies extremely high in the sky then takes a nose dive straight into the water at such a high speed that when it hits the water, the impact of that rips off all of its feathers, it then swims to shore and hobbles up to the bank and then the process of growing new, clean feathers. With our changing our thinking patterns to line up with the Word of God, we can get rid of all the dirty negatives we have been thinking, get rid of all the pressures, fears and shame that we have been carrying and in return, we have a life that is youthful, vigorating, vibrant like a youth has. We are not burdened down like people our own age are. That is the greatness of this verse. I have seen so many young people in their 30’s acting bogged down and miserable like someone in their 70’s. What a life we have. No matter how old we get we have youth, our miseries are out the door. When you start to have a negative thought about yourself, that is when you need to stop and replace it with being loved and embraced by God.

 ⁶The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.  How many times has someone did something wrong and for some reason you feel the need to kick them while they are down. Or just the opposite, your down and other want to shove it in your face.  God executeth righteousness and those that are feeling oppressed and depressed he is there to love and pick them up; he is the one who forgives. God does it! Is there is any reason you cannot do it? This is what the world does to us and it hurts. Let us love others in a way the world has never seen, you make yourself love those who are your enemies, don’t confuse that with friendship, you can love others without having to being their friend. if God can execute righteousness then we can to. You must believe in your heart God does not condem.

 ⁷He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.  Children of Israel never sat down and chatted with God, never sat down and had a cup of coffee and shared their hearts with God, because their hearts were hardened, they love the law, they loved worshipping sexual objects, backbiting, murmuring, gossip, they loved religion, looking holier than thou, and all that other junk, but Moses loved God and because of that God and him had a great working relationship. God was able to tell Moses what needed to be done, Moses believed, and the children of Israel only got to see the actions. God will make his ways known unto you; he will show you things to come before they happen. God wants to be your best friend besides being your father. Start your morning off with a cup of coffee and chat with him, after a long day of work, take your shoes off and chat with God, tell him how your day went, tell him what’s on your heart. Tell him how he blessed you today. We got to get out of a mechanical relationship with God. He doesn’t expect you to get into a formal mode of prayer; you don’t have to change when you’re talking to God. Do you do that when you are with your best friend? No you don’t. Your friend comes into your house and all of a sudden you act calm and holy, that is mechanical. Start getting honest with God, ok? He just wants your heart and no fake stuff.

 ⁸The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. Repeat that one to yourself over and over. People are the ones quick to anger and show no mercy. You did something wrong, well let me tell you just how bad you are and I will tell others while I am at it. Getting mad quickly, people have that one perfected. I have been really good at it myself; especially when someone says something that offends me I get mad really quick! I am learning not to and it takes a lot of practice. I love our God. Mercy means, withholding of merited judgment, which means you should be punished severely for what you did, but God withholds it. That is mercy, he doesn’t fly off the handle and degrade you. My dad would scare me so bad when I was little, he would get mad quickly and hurt us verbally or physcialy, God heals our wounded hearts, he gives us courage to face life. He tell us we can do all things while the world tells us we are useless. Our God is a powerful loving father and you mean more to him than anything else in this world. If God be for us, who can be against us?

 ⁹He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

 ¹⁰He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

 ¹¹For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. ¹²As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Again, this is where man remembers and God forgets. Don’t beat yourself up when you do something wrong, and don’t beat others up when they do something wrong. What grace and love we have from God. He continues to love, forgive and forget.  It is towards them that fear him; this is a very terrible word that was inserted. The world causes us great fear, this is not from God. The word means respect, to be in awe for God. God wants your love and respect, that is all he asks of you, is to be loved by you. Then do it, love him, by doing that, look at all the benefits we get, it is amazing. How quick are we to forget, how quick are we to look at ourselves and the world for answers, how quick are we to get angry and judge others. Changes are necessary, and change starts within, try to remember some of his benefits. The East never meets the West, your sins are gone, destroyed, lost! God no longer remembers them, why do you want to? Learning to love God takes time, we are so accustomed to being hurt, lied to, cheated on, that we carry these thoughts over into God. He knows that, he knows what you have been through. People blame their miserable lives on God because religion has instilled so much fear they think God is mad at them and is out for revenge. It’s a lie straight from the pit of hell. People hurt you, not God. You cannot go beyond what you have been taught, the more you learn about Gods Word the more you can believe.

 ¹³Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

 ¹⁴For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

 ¹⁵As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

 ¹⁶For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.   ¹⁷But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

We are dust, we are fragile, weak, and our days here on earth are not that long. We honestly need to learn to love our life, to embrace the love life God gave us. We had nothing in this world before God called us. We were without hope, confused, messed up, we were a wreck. If anyone as a believer is still living like that that then it is a shame. I am not saying to this to shame you, but it should alarm you, we have a life that is almost a miracle. Forgiveness, health, all needs met, a God who swift to help in time of need. I could make pages full of what God has done and will do. But I don’t need to; he wrote a book full of them for us. We are not beggars, we are not in need, and we are not desperate and confused people. We are royalty, we are in Gods household. Your life of wealth is not to be confused with money and clothes. That is a deception from the devil; the devil deceives people into thinking that they never have enough, that you have need after need, and to live in fear. Today is the day to embrace your life, live today to the fullest you can and with that, start off with being thankful, remembering some of Gods benefits, accepting what God made you to be, he says you are lovely and beautiful and if you think otherwise, then change it, change your thinking patterns. The battle field of the mind, you think the Word or you think the world. When you are dead and asleep waiting for the gathering, you cannot do anything for anyone. Now is the time to rise above, now, today is the day to live and act like a child of God, not tomorrow when you get a paycheck and then act like your rich for a day. We are rich every day. Embrace your love life with God and for others. And keep in mind these blessings are handed on down to our children’s children, God continues to bless our families, generation after generation.

 ¹⁸To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

His commandments are to love him and love others; do you see the word “remember”? How quick are those thoughts out the door, you must remember and think upon Gods Word

 ¹⁹The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

 ²⁰Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.  It is not angels here, it should be messengers, and it is talking about us. We are the ones who excel in strength. That strength comes from us putting off those dirty old feathers and having our youth renewed, changing our thinking, taking off the old dirty thoughts and putting on the new thoughts. You cannot excel in strength by carrying around old baggage, get rid of it.

 ²¹Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

 ²²Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

How thankful are our hearts are unto God, embrace your life now, all your sins are forgiven, your past is dead, today is a new day. Have a cup of coffee with God and let him know you’re thinking about him and that you remember some of the good things he has done for you. And another thing, if you do not know God that much or know very little of the Word, ask him to teach you, ask him to give you a bigger heart, to give you wisdom, ask him to show you why you are here on earth and what is your purpose.  He loves that, he craves for you to want to know him. We also have fellowship every Sunday, held in a home with a handful of sweet people just wanting to learn.  Anyone desiring to know is invited.
